Lateral meniscus bucket handle tear
Typical appearance of a lateral meniscus bucket handle tear. Unlike the medial meniscus tear which is often a fairly symmetrical longitudinal tear which gives rise the the bucket handle, the lateral bucket handle tears most often inlcude more of the posterior horn and body. Often the posterior horn will tear and separate from the capsule and flip into the anterior aspect of the lateral compartment giving rise to the double delta sign of 2 anterior horns.
