tarsal tunnel ( RID3220 )
This is a companion case to #1944. There is an accessory muscle in the tarsal tunnel, red arrows (medial to the NV bundle and deep to the retinaculum inserting onto the Q plantae), which I believe is an FDAL (though Ive only ever seen it lateral or superfiical to the nvb). There is subtle edema of the medial plantar nerve, indicated by white arrows, it is bright in the 2nd image, which is the next distal image of the two. I think the ? bright signal of the AbdHall muscle is inhomogeneity, as the EDB looks similar. There is mild PTT tenosynovitis, but the flexor tendons look normal.
