The ACL tear at the femoral origin is best seen in axial images (white arrows), poorly seen in the Sag plane. At arthoscopy it was a high grade partial tear that was repaired, not reconstructed. Complex PHMM tear also in the last image. Since some orthopedists consider repair rather than recon of the ACL at the femoral origin, it is important to specify the location of the tear. [ Article ]
