spinoglenoid notch ( RID1869 )
There is a tear of the posterosuperior labrum, posterior to the intact biceps anchor. A large paralabral cyst dissects into the spinoglenoid notch, but there is no denervation atrophy or edema of the infraspinatus muscle. There is only minimal opacification of the cyst by arthrographic fluid (white arrow) in Ax T1FS. The BLO images show the Infraspinatus muscle and tendon to best advantage and demonstrate insertional tendinosis with superimposed low grade intrasubstance tear (yellow arrow).
