articular cartilage of talar dome ( RID3010 )
There is dense calcification within the central portion of the talar dome with a tiny adjacent subchondral low attenuation focus. Unusual location for osteochondral lesion (so central) but do you agree this must be sequela of previous osteochondral injury? We see alot of talar dome OC lesions, but Ive not seen this. Could it be something else? Shes symptomatic for 3 months and MRI showed quite a bit of marrow edema.
