articular cartilage of distal end of clavicle ( RID1897 )
This man has supraspinatus tendinosis and partial insertional tear, so I dont know if this contributes to his symptoms. I have previously posted cases of injury to the distal clavicle with chondral delamination +/- distal clavicular periosteal stripping with injury to the intra-articular disc and capsule. I suspect this patient had remote osteochondral/capsular injury with distal clavicular osteolysis and secondary DJD. I wonder if shoulder surgeons care about this at all?
