acromioclavicular joint ( RID1895 )
This is a chronic Type IV AC joint separation, which I dont recall seeing. The distal clavicle is displaced both cranially and posteriorly, protruding into the trapezial fascia (white arrow). The coracoclavicular ligament is chronically torn, the blunt end is seen surrounded by fat in the Cor T1w image (red arrow). Ive attached a relevant article with disappointing surgical outcomes.
