ACL graft device ( RID5523 )
The displaced medial bucket handle tear is visible both on the current CT (arrows) and recent MRI. Contours of the ACL graft cannot be seen by CT, either because it is ruptured or because it is silhouetted by the displaced BHT. There is much surgical susceptibility artifact in the notch limiting the recent MRI. I am not convinced I see any intact graft. The femoral interference screw protrudes at the roof of the notch and it unusually anteriorly placed (should be at intersection of posterior supracondylar femoral cortex and Blumensaats line). The attached article reminds us to look for ligament contours on CT. Meniscal tears usually cannot be seen, unless there is a large displaced fragment, as in this case.
