Discussion

There is a tear at the lateral insertion of the semimembranosus tendon, along with tears of the Oblique Popliteal ligament (which blends with the semimembranosus posteriorly) and the Posterior Oblique Ligament (between the superficial MCL and semimembranosus at the posteromedial knee).
