History

27 y/o patellar tendon rupture with repair 2 years ago. Re-injury 1 year ago. Now with increasing pain and limited range of motion.

Discussion

The acute changes have resolved but the patient has a re-tear of the tendon. The patella is retracted superiorly. Important to measure the length of gap as well as any residual tendon for surgical planning.
