Discussion

51 year old clinically with adjacent segment disease (instability adjacent to a spinal fusion) at the L3-4 level above his fusions. He wanted to know if I thought he had the distended facet sign - indicating segmental instability - The distended facet sign: an indicator of position-dependent spinal stenosis and degenerative spondylolisthesis
