Discussion

Note calcification in XR, for which MRI was recommended (white arrow). Axial T1W image shows prominent spur along the dorsal margin of the distal radius at the 1st extensor compartment (red arrow), which is seen in Cor GRE image. The calcification is located along the dorsal surface of the EPB which shows only mild increased intrasubstance signal. There is superficial pressure erosion of the adjacent distal radius, indicating chronicity.
