Discussion

In slide 1 and 2 there is either erosion or pre-erosion at the dorsal talar neck containing thick intermed signal soft tissue contiguous with the anterior ankle synovial lining. Is this neuropathic change? Other? Note that he has a complete retracted rupture of the P Longus, with os peroneus marking the stump of the proximal remnant. He also has intrinsic muscle atrophy and edema.
