Discussion

Old subperiosteal hematoma. Also called ossified hematoma. A portion of the lesion has yellow marrow in it and has been incorporated into the cortex of the iliac bone. Central portion is still liquefied portion of hematoma.

Age 15 high level athlete. Six months of pain in certain movements. Field hockey and bowling in cricket.
