History

Discussion

F32 with chronic fingertip pain and associated cold sensitivity. US showed a non-specific subungual mass causing pressure erosion of bone, consistent with glomus tumor in clinical context, no detectable vascularity on Doppler in this case. Plain xray unhelpful because slight off-lateral projection prevented confident appreciation of erosion.

Diagnosis

glomus tumor ( RID4513 )
