29 yr old male s/p shoulder dislocation 2 weeks ago

There is a moderate sized subacute Hill Sachs deformity with only minimal marrow edema at the anteroinferior glenoid rim. The axial images suggest labral injury, but do not clearly define the lesion. Slide 2 shows images in the biceps labral oblique (BLO) plane, which clearly delineate the avulsion of the anterior labrum at 3:00-5:00, with an intact labroligamentous complex, constituting a Perthes lesion. There is fibrillation of the adjacent articular cartilage at the glenoid rim. Not the impaction and marrow edema at the coracoid undersurface related to recent anterior, subcoracoid dislocation.
